About

The Women's Wellness Center include routine preventive care, such mammograms, and other screenings. These services can help detect as well-woman exams, Pap smears, health issues early, when they are most treatable, and can help women maintain good health throughout their lives. Center also offers a range of reproductive health services, such as family planning, prenatal care, and childbirth education. We offer car seats for new mothers in preparation for their baby's arrival.

Services Provided

  • Prenatal care for low risk pregnancies
  • Postpartum care 6-8 weeks after delivery
  • Annual Gynecologic Exams/Women's Health Physical for women
  • Yearly health screenings
  • Comprehensive STI testing and treatment such as infections, pelvic pain and menstrual problems
  • Contraception initiation and management
  • Car seats requests for expecting mothers

Important Information

  • You must apply for Medicaid as soon as you have a confirmed pregnancy. You may visit the on-site Medicaid Representative or apply online through the Mississippi Medicaid Office.
  • When you are referred for a OB-GYN specialist, you must take your insurance card, update your information, and take your referral to your appointment.
